September 29th 1st Annual Steve Genetti Golf Classic

Steve Genetti was an Army Medic in Vietnam. He passed away November 14, 2016 from Primary Myeliofibrosis, a rare blood cancer that likely developed from exposure to Agent Orange during his time in Vietnam. Steve was a huge advocate for his fellow veterans and dedicated his life to supporting them any way he could. He especially took issue with veteran homelessness. In an effort to keep Steve’s spirit alive and continue his dedication to his fellow veterans, His niece is hosting the 1st Annual Steve Genetti Golf Classic to benefit Veteran’s Bridge Home in Charlotte, NC. Steve loved golf and played as much as possible before going into the hospital at UNC Chapel Hill. While he was no good at it, it was still a favorite pastime, so all levels of golf experience are highly encouraged! This will be a fun day of classic games with a purpose! The format will be Captain's Choice with teams of 4. red tees and mulligans will be offered for sale, and handicaps, for those who have them, will be collected day of play so the rest of us can stand a chance!
