Melissa Schuessler Bodford is the Co-founder, Chairman & CEO of uBack, a multi-channel, digital technology platform which is transforming the philanthropic industry with a new, data-driven platform revolutionizing the way individuals give - uniting all the players - nonprofits, companies, donors - in one connected digital, social impact ecosystem.

Previously, as a Managing Director in Accenture's Financial Services practice, Melissa spent 19+ years in the global consulting industry - serving C-suite clients to provide advisory services and manage large scale, complex organizational change and talent transformations within the Federal Government, Products and Financial Services sectors. Melissa held a variety of leadership roles, and most recently led the Human Capital Business Service practice for Financial Services North America. In this role, Melissa had overall responsibility of Accenture's practice offerings, go-to-market services, acquisitions, and practice portfolio, incl. journey / change strategy, change enablement services (change planning, impact analysis, stakeholder mgmt, etc.), organization change capability (operating model strategy / design), Human Resource Transformation, Talent & Leadership, and Finance & Risk Human Capital. Additionally, she also served as the Global Management Consulting Client Account Lead for one of Accenture's Top 5 global clients. Finally, Melissa has co-authored papers on transformational change and adoption ("Catalyzing the Adoption of Collaborative Technologies") and has served as a speaker at multiple global technology, Financial Services, and philanthropic conferences.

Melissa graduated with distinction in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received her M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from George Mason University. She has previously served as an adjunct professor in the Department of Psychology at Queens University of Charlotte. Melissa serves on the Board of Trustees of YMCA of Metro Charlotte (~$174M organization), Board of Trustees of Discovery Place (~$100M organization), and Board of Directors of Veterans Bridge Home.
