SUMMARY:Heroes Hike with Veterans Bridge Home
DESCRIPTION:Veterans Bridge Home is partnering with Carolina Thread Trail and Catawba Lands Conservancy for a community hike dedicated to our nation’s heroes. Veterans\, military families\, and community supporters are invited to enjoy a relaxing morning hike along the Duke Kimbrell Trail and Stowe Connector near Daniel Stowe Conservancy in Belmont\, NC.\n\nThis 4–4.5 mile hike is a great opportunity to connect with fellow veterans\, build community\, and spend time outdoors enjoying the natural beauty of the region. Service animals and well-behaved dogs are welcome.\n\nParticipants are encouraged to wear comfortable hiking clothes and sturdy closed-toe shoes. Please bring water\, snacks\, and sun protection as needed. First aid supplies\, bug spray\, and sunscreen will be available onsite. After the hike\, attendees are welcome to gather at The Trailhead Store for coffee and refreshments.\n\nLocation: 6500 S New Hope Rd\, Belmont\, NC 28012\nParking: Please park in the last row of the main parking lot near the edge of the field.\nRegistration: bit.ly/heroes-hike
