DESCRIPTION:Veterans Bridge Home is partnering with Carolina Thread Trail and Catawba Lands Conservancy for a community hike dedicated to our nation’s heroes. Veterans\, military families\, and community supporters are invited to enjoy a relaxing morning hike along the Duke Kimbrell Trail and Stowe Connector near Daniel Stowe Conservancy in Belmont\, NC.\n\nThis 4–4.5 mile hike is a great opportunity to connect with fellow veterans\, build community\, and spend time outdoors enjoying the natural beauty of the region. Service animals and well-behaved dogs are welcome.\n\nParticipants are encouraged to wear comfortable hiking clothes and sturdy closed-toe shoes. Please bring water\, snacks\, and sun protection as needed. First aid supplies\, bug spray\, and sunscreen will be available onsite.
