Veterans Benefits Live – Charlotte

The event will connect veterans one-on-one with representatives from the Winston-Salem VA Regional Office, Salisbury VA Health Care System, Veteran Service Organizations, the Mobile Vet Center, and community resource providers. Services include VA compensation and pension assistance, survivor benefits, VA healthcare eligibility, Veteran Readiness and Employment, education, home loan and life insurance information, mental-health counseling, housing assistance, and other social and vocational resources.

Veterans Benefits Live, or VBL, is a large, in-person benefits event that brings VA decision-makers, healthcare representatives, Veteran Service Officers, and community providers into one location.

This is not simply an information fair where veterans collect brochures. Depending on the status of the veteran’s claim and the evidence available, the veteran may be routed through a VSO, VBA staff, and potentially a Rating Veterans Service Representative, or RVSR, for direct claim review.

The facility plan shows a registration and veteran staging area, approximately 15–20 VSO stations, a waiting area, VBA staff, RVSR review rooms, VA healthcare eligibility and women veteran programs, toxic-exposure screening, information sessions, and the Mobile Vet Center.
