Amaris McComas is the Chief People Officer at CPSI. Prior to this role she was the Head of Talent, Strategy, and Transformation at Equitable. Before that, she was the Senior Human Resources Business Partner supporting the Office of the CEO at TIAA. She held various roles during her tenure, including Senior Director of Talent Acquisition, and Head of Talent and Organizational Development at TIAA Bank, where she managed the strategic development of the recruiting, talent management and learning teams.

Throughout her career, Amaris has played a significant role in human resources technology implementations. Prior to joining TIAA, she spent three years at Premier, Inc., a healthcare performance improvement organization, leading talent acquisition efforts for permanent, contingent and early talent. She was also responsible for strategic planning; the execution of Premier's Managed Service Provider led the total talent management strategy for Premier's employee base. Prior to that, she spent eight years at HSBC as Vice President of Resourcing. She managed the team's full-cycle recruiting processes, data retrieval and analysis, and human capital reporting in order to enable the company to source, hire and retain quality and diverse candidates. At HSBC, Amaris received the 2009 and 2011 Diversity Ambassador Award for increasing awareness and education in recruitment related to Affirmative Action and served as the lead diversity liaison of resourcing for the United States.

Amaris has a passion for world travel and international cuisine. Fluent in Italian and Spanish, she holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. A native of Puerto Rico, Amaris lives in Charlotte, NC with her husband and three children.
