Veterans Bridge Home Volunteers work with our Center in a variety of ways. Whether in-center with our staff or supporting community events, volunteers are the backbone of our operation. Continue reading to discover the best way to volunteer with our organization.
General Volunteer Support - work directly with visitors and staff to add to the visitor's experience as well as provide behind-the-scenes support i.e., front desk or other administrative tasks
Battle Buddy- receive basic mental health training so you can be there for friends and be equipped to know the difference between a bad day and a situation that requires more professional help.
Groups - If you are a group, or ERG/BRG looking to volunteer at the Center please contact Aaron our VP of Employment at aharper@veteransbridgehome.org.
Event Volunteers - support the operational functions of Veterans Bridge Home events as well as community events. These volunteers are not asked to commit to any certain number of hours and are only emailed when their support is needed.
Deliveries and Transportation- provide transportation to appointments and or assist with delivering items.
