As the Regional Director of Employment-East, Craig focuses on connecting employers, their Veteran Resource Groups and employment-focused veteran service organizations with service members, veterans, and their families as they transition into new careers across the Triangle and Sandhills markets.
Most recently, he served as a Corporate Fellowship Program Manager at Hiring Our Heroes, where he played a pivotal role in assisting service members transitioning from the military in the Carolinas and beyond. His efforts in partnering with veteran service organizations and executing networking opportunities have significantly impacted the military community. Craig was also a Career Counselor at Inverness Technologies for the Army, where he provided tailored support to hundreds of clients, enhancing their career prospects through targeted outreach and networking. His work as a Health & Wellness Military Contractor for the US Army and United States Air Force further demonstrates his commitment to improving the lives of service members by increasing clinic utilization and reducing non-deployable personnel. His additional/earlier work experience equipped Craig with the ability to understand and respond to the broader Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) that impact our SMVFs, ensuring they receive the holistic support necessary for successful career transitions.
Craig's educational background includes a Master of Science in Kinesiology from Georgia Southern University, a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business-Hospitality Management from Eastern Michigan University. Craig is passionate about connecting veterans with meaningful employment opportunities and supporting companies with their strategic recruitment and community engagement efforts.
