Jessica is a Veteran spouse and caregiver. She holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

Jessica is certified as a Veteran Support Specialist, QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper and in Mental Health First Aid. In October 2019, Jessica Salinas began working in the program of NCServes Central Carolina connecting Service Members, Veterans, and their families to resources addressing housing, employment, benefits, and many others..

Jessica continues to give back to the Military and Veteran community through her volunteer efforts with Operation Homefront, Operation Red Wings Foundation and Deployed Love.
