Board MemberKen Miller is a retired Financial Services Legal Executive with 37 years experience at major financial institutions, in government, and national law firms. In 2023 he retired as Deputy General Counsel of Bank of America where, over a nearly 20 year career, he led legal support for a broad variety of of functions, including Global Technology & Operations, Bank Regulatory Affairs, Public Policy, Global Risk, Privacy, Wealth Management, and the Regulatory Inquiries Group. He was also the head of Legal Operations and Legal Practice Development. Prior to joining Bank of America in 2004, Ken was a trial lawyer in the Division of Enforcement of the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. and litigator at national law firms in New York and Washington, D.C. Ken obtained his B.A. from Cornell University's College of Arts & Sciences and his J.D. from the Albany Law School of Union University.
Ken has long been an active supporter of the Charlotte community, championing volunteerism and pro bono legal services. He previously served for six years on the Executive Committee of the Charlotte Preparatory School Board of Trustees.
