Laura Dabney

A Navy veteran, Laura Dabney served as a Naval Fight Officer flying in the S-3 Viking while assigned to Sea Control Wing, U.S. Pacific Fleet until the aircraft was retired.

After a period as a stay-at-home mom while her husband was deployed, she then worked for the U.S. Department of State in Amman, Jordan and Jakarta, Indonesia. Most recently Laura served as the Community Liaison Officer for U.S. Embassy Jakarta and U.S. Mission to ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations). After returning to the States, before joining VBH, she was a project manager at Imagine Software in Charlotte.

Laura graduated the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland with a B.S. in general engineering, history minor. A native Ohioan, Laura met her husband Lucas, a Marine veteran, while at Annapolis and they have two children, Ian and Brooke.br>
