Olga Perkins
Olga joined Veterans Bridge Home in August of 2021. Before coming to VBH Olga worked as a Constituent Liaison in Congressman Mark Walkers office. Prior to her congressional work Olga worked as a High School Spanish Instructor.
Olga graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Communications. She was born in Costa Rica and moved to the US when she was five. Her veteran connection comes through her brother who retired from the military in 2021 after serving 40 years. She also assisted and encountered many veterans through her work in Congressman Walker's office. Once Congressman Walker opted not to run for re-election and having seen the need in the Veteran community, Olga pursued employment opportunities that would allow her to continue assisting veterans.
