Rachel J Weissburg

Rachel Weissburg serves the market of Charlotte/Metrolina as the Community Coordinator for Veterans Bridge Home. She recently finished seminary at Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, and is training to be a chaplain with the veteran population. She has close ties to veterans through her family and friends.

Previous to her work at Veterans Bridge Home, Rachel spent fifteen years working in health policy at the national and state level, managing programs that aimed to make our public and private health systems more patient-centered, affordable, and safe. She holds a Master's Degree in Organizational Management from George Washington University.

Rachel is also a patient herself with multiple chronic conditions, and has tried to use her own voice to represent the patient perspective by serving as a peer advisor and patient representative on multiple hospital committees and in community clinics, such as Georgetown University Hospital and the Whitman Walker Clinic in Washington DC, to create change at the local level.
