BRIGADIER GENERAL (RET.) TWANDA

Brigadier General, Twanda "Tia" Young is a highly respected veteran, leader, and changemaker with over 30 years of military service in the United States Army. She most recently served as Deputy Commanding General at Human Resources Command, overseeing an organization of more than 3,500 personnel and managing a $2.9 billion annual budget. Tia played a central role in modernization efforts, strategic change management, and critical medical response during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Today, she is the founder and CEO of LT3 Leadership Solutions, where she offers executive coaching, conflict management, and leadership development programs for individuals and organizations. A published author and motivational speaker, her impact extends into academia and thought leadership. Tia has received the Distinguished Service Medal and the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. Her autobiography is included in the Library of Congress.
